Executive Director Denise Corcoran discussed the Anthracite Region Center for Independent Living. The organization's mission is to enable individuals with disabilities to attain their highest possible level of independence. ARCIL serves all types and ages of people with disabilities in 13 regional counties. The agency also provides transportation, information and referral, advocacy, skills training, job placement and peer support.
President elect John Madden presided at the meeting.
