Just about everyone buys poinsettias and other plants to brighten up their homes and offices for the holiday season.  Plants also make great gifts for employees, families and friends.  This year, consider buying them from the Rotary Club of Hazleton who are holding theirtenth  annual Poinsettia Plant Sale.

You can order a 6” poinsettia (l plant per pot, 4-6 blooms with mylar) and/or  a 8” poinsettia (3 plants per pot, 15+ blooms with mylar).   Also available for purchase are  6” amaryllis (2 stems 6-8 blooms with mylar), 6.5” Christmas cactus( 12 cuttings with clay pot), 6” ivy topiary with mylar and 6” ivy topiary in deco pot . 

Orders can be taken from any Rotary Club member or call Mark Imbriaco at 570-455-3135 or Paul Brenner at 570-454-8706. Checks may be made payable to the Hazleton Rotary Club. The last day to order is Wednesday, November 28th.   Plants will be available for pick up at Genetti’s after 12noon on December 12th. 

Proceeds from the sale are used to fund theclub’sDictionaryProject and Scholarship Fund.  Over 900 dictionaries will be distributed to Hazleton Area School District 3rd graders this November.  Applications for the scholarships for area high school seniors will be available in area high schools in the spring.
