At the conclusion of the Rotary Youth Leadership Award Conference, Anna and Ben Drobnock, juniors at MMI Preparatory School, were joined by their mom, Lani and District Governor Tim Genetti.Lani is secretary of Hazleton Rotary, and Governor Tim is also a member.
RYLA was at Keystone College in Laplume, a five-day four-night leadership program for high school students who have completed their sophomore year and shown leadership potential in their home, school and community. The conference is designed to introduce participants to thoughts and ideas which will strengthen and develop their leadership skills. Hazleton Rotary and Hazleton Rotary Foundation Scholarships enabled them to take part in this event.” A third MMI student , Anthony Arias Tejeda, also received a scholarship to attend.
