Michael Screenock is the Development Manager at Im-
manuel Christian, a K-12 school in Hazleton. Their mis-
sion is to provide a financially accessible, grace-filled,
Christ-centered education shaping students to be-
come lifelong learners who serve their community with
integrity. With 151 students, Mike noted that 60% of
students are low income, and 25% of students come
from a single parent or grandparent household. ICS
has a new initiative, Leo’s Little Kitchen, at 175 N. Ce-
dar St., helping students with workforce development.
