Six women, three of them Hazleton Rotary members, will be honored at the 32nd YWCA PEARL awards dinner on March 16 at Sand Springs Country Club, Drums.PEARL is an acronym for professionalism, excellence, achievement, role model/responsibility and leadership.
Rotarian Recipients of the 2018 PEARL Award are:
■ Katherine Oh, nominated by Donna Barna, owner and marketing director, Fyzical Therapy and Balance Center in the entrepreneur/self-employed category.
■ Carla Thaller, nominated by Toni Christman, regional director operations, Hotels for Hamister Group LLC, for the business and industry category.
■ Kim McNulty, nominated by Lani Drobnock, director of advancement, MMI Preparatory School, Freeland, in the field of communications.
